Welcome back to the real world. What an incredible end of summer weekend we had. The water remains as warm as it gets in Southern California and the hottest of the heat wave weather has finally relaxed a bit. We dropped into the low 60's in the coastal strip last night and already air conditioners are being switched off, windows opened and houses are getting cooled naturally. Nice! We'll heat up again the second half of this week but it should be more bearable than the last heat wave. Look for highs in the upper 70's at the coast and upper 80's inland. Morning and evening clouds will also come and go. We'll cool off and dry out next week, so get in the water while it is still warm. I've been keeping a close eye on the larger pattern since it's almost Santa Ana season. So far things are safe, but as the fall storms start getting bigger and rolling ashore in the northwest, the conditions become ripe for the drying and warming NE winds. Thanks for checking in, please sign up for my newsletter while your here. Its easy to opt out if you decide later I'm not adding anything you need to know. d;-) Have a great day. Loren
